1.Regions and Time of Opening

Run Run Shaw Library: the Hall and all reading rooms from 2nd floor to 5th floor (self-study halls, e-reading rooms, research & study rooms are not available), 8:00-22:00

Changsheng Library: the hall and all reading rooms from 2nd floor to 3rd floor (self-study halls are not available), 8:00-22:00

Qishan Library: the hall and all reading rooms from 2nd floor to 3rd floor, 8:00-21:00

Anxi Library: the hall and all reading rooms, 8:00-21:00

In the afternoon of each Thursday, the libraries at all campuses will be closed for internal affairs. The closure on official holidays will be informed separately.  

The library would adjust the opening regions and hours accordingly, and please pay attentions to the library website, WeChat and Weibo account for updates.  

2.Readers Instruction

2.1 The box and vehicle for returning books will be placed at the door of the service hall at the 2nd floor of Run Run Shaw Library and Qishan campus library. Readers who only need to return book can simply put books into the box and then just leave. The library will do sterilization as soon as possible and  finish the returning procedures.

2.2 Readers should wear mask and swipe valid campus card to enter library, and should keep safety distance (1 meter distance) when in the library. When at reading rooms, readers who need seat should take their seats by following one-person-one-desk and in the same direction. You do not need to put the books back to shelves, just leave them on reading desk and librarians will take them back. Readers should take all belongs and leave the library orderly and consciously.  

2.3 If feeling uncomfortable or finding health abnormities of other readers, please inform librarians on duty for help as soon as possible with responsibilities to the health of others and yourself.

Please use step ladders when going upstairs or downstairs

2.4 The population in the library will be restricted. At the same period, by principle, no more than 300 readers can stay at Run Run Shaw Library and Changsheng Library, and no more than 150 readers for Qishan Library and Anxi Library. When the population reaches the upper limit, readers can only enter in the way of one-out-one-in. Your understanding and cooperation will be appreciated, and please keep safety distance to wait in the queue.
