The 4th Fujian international and Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese teachers and students' cultural and art performance award party sponsored by the Education Department of Fujian Province was held on the evening of December 8th at FAFU. Participants included Wang Jiannan, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the University, and Wang Yang, deputy director of the Provincial Department of education. More than 300 other guests, including government officials of provincial and municipal levels and corresponding heads of the International Office from other universities at Fuzhou, were also present at the party. International students in Fujian colleges and universities and teachers and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan watched the live broadcast of the award party online.

This event was launched on line and off line in June, 2021 in the universities of Fujian Province. A total of 106 award-winning programs were selected, including 7 first prizes, 11 second prizes and 15 third prizes. FAFU won one first prize in stage performance of Tea Art Dance named Tea Fragrance and Luckiness Spreads Over Fujian, one second prize in graphic works (short video) named All is Well and one third prize named Fresh Fujian, Fresh Fuzhou.
FAFU’s Tea Art Dance wins the first prize
All kinds of entries were exhibited at the award ceremony, and the first, second and third prizes of graphic works (short video), graphic works (calligraphy and painting), Chinese language and stage performance were awarded at the ceremony. The award-winning programs such as the tea art dance performance of Tea Fragrance and Luckiness Spreads Over Fujian by FAFU were performed on site.

This talent show is the fourth time that Fujian Province has held this activity. It is a beneficial practice for colleges and universities in Fujian Province to explore and carry forward Chinese culture, tell Chinese stories well and strengthen the brand of studying in Fujian.
