RESEARCHINTERESTS:

Mainly engaged in the diagnosis and prevention and control of poultry infectious diseases technology researchfocus on the molecular biology, epidemiology, molecular ecology, immunity and pathogenic mechanism of some important poultry pathogens, such as Muscovy duck reovirus, avian infectious bronchitis virus, Infectious bursal disease virus, chicken mycoplasma.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:

The primary researches are etiology of important infectious diseases in poultry, epidemiolog, pathogenic mechanism, the technology of immunization prevention and control.

(1)Research on the pathogenic mechanism of Muscovy duck reovirus (MDRV).

Study on the function of S group gene-encoded proteins (σC, σA, σNS and P10) of MDRV--Cell entry process and mechanism, virus induces autophagy and virus replication, virus inhibits autophagy-lysosomal degradation pathway, etc.

MDRV infection induces intestinal mucosal immunosuppression and its mechanism.

 ③Regulation of MDRVprotein on interferon signaling pathway and the mechanism of nuclear localization.

(2) The regulatory effect of Hericium polysaccharides on immune suppression induced by MDRV infection and its mechanism.

When developing drugs for the prevention and treatment of this disease, it was found that Hericium erinaceus polysaccharide (HEP) can effectively prevent and treat MDRVinfection, promote the recovery of MDRV-infected Muscovy ducks, and reduce mortality.

 ②The effect of HEP on the repair of intestinal mucosal injury in MDRV-infected ducks was studied. The study analyzed the effects of HEP on the number of mucosal immune-related lymphocytes, such as mast cells and goblet cells, in the intestinal mucosa tissue, lymphocyte homing, enzyme secretion and activity, sIgA secretion, NO and histamine content, and mucosal vascular addressin expression, the level and the content of cytokines related to mucosal immune function, etc. The effect of HEP on the repair of intestinal mucosa and the regulation of intestinal mucosal immunity and its mechanism were preliminarily determined.

  1. The study isolated and identified avian infectious bursal disease virus IBDV-FJ02,the whole genome sequence of the isolate was analyzed and the pathogenicity was studied. At the same time, an indirect ELISA method for the detection of VP2 antibodies of the IBDV mutant virus strain was established.

  2. We prepared four antigens of IBDV mutant virus strains and compared their immune effects.

  3. Etiological investigation of Mycoplasma gallisepticum infection of white-feather broilers in northern Fujian and the isolation and identification of epidemic strains.  Expression of Mycoplasma gallisepticum adhesin multiple epitope fusion protein and animal immunity test.
