Academic Lecture on Dr. Yang Wang from Southern University of Science and Technology

     At 2:00 p.m. onNovember 8, 2019, Dr. Yang Wang gave an academic lecture entitled “the Design and Application of High-efficient Perovskite Solar Cell based on the Novel Hole Interface/Transporting materials” in the small report hall of Qishan campus. The lecture was hosted by Professor Ouyang Xinhua, an expert of Fujian hundred talents plan. There were more than 70 teachers, graduate students and international students who took part in the lecture. 

 


       Dr. Wang Yang designed and synthesized three kinds of interface materials with the advantages of clear structures and good repeatability. Then, they were employed into perovskite solar cell with reasonable device structure and achieved high efficiency with the value of 21.17%. In these molecules, donor (D)-acceptor (A) bond structures were consider to be feasible methodology for design efficient interface materials. In the meanwhile, the device showed good stability under room temperature, illumination and heating. In the end of this lecture, the participants productively discussed with Dr. Yang Feng on the solar cells, and formed some effective ideals.

       Wang Yang graduated from China University of science and technology in 2009 with a Bachelor degree, obtained his Ph.D. from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2009 to 2015, engaged in postdoctoral research in Tsinghua University, Taiwan from 2015 to 2016, and has been engaged in postdoctoral research in Southern University of Science and Technology since 2017. In 2017, he was selected as a class C talent of Shenzhen peacock plan, and won the postdoctoral Award for excellence of president of South University of science and technology in 2018. He has published more than 20 papers on Adv Mater, Adv Energy Mater, Adv. Funct. Mater, and other international high-level journals. He also obtained 1 American patent, 2 Chinese patents, 1 first-class from China Postdoctoral Funding, and 1 National Natural Science Fund of China for Youth Funding.
