College of Materials and Engineeringcombined with College of Traffic and Civil Engineering to hold campus supply and demand meeting for 2019’s graduate together in Qishancampus


 

On April 26, the College of Materials and Engineering, together with other departments of campus and the College of transportation Traffic and Civil Engineering, held a special campus supply and demand meeting for the class of 2019 graduates in the east square of Qishan campus. The meeting was sponsored by the management committee of Qishan campus of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, and jointly undertaken by the College of Materials and Engineering and the College of transportation Traffic and Civil Engineering.

A total of more than 135 large and medium-sized enterprises from inside and outside the province came to recruit in this meeting, providing more than 1,500 jobs, attracted nearly one thousand 2019s graduates of College of Materials and Engineering and the College of transportation Traffic and Civil Engineering and the surrounding universities to attend the meeting. There were many graduates in the meeting. In order to understand the specific situation of the position, the graduates actively participated in the meeting, combined with their own personal career planning, targeted delivery of resume, and interviewed with the employer. Through the selection of supply and demand, many graduates and employers have reached a preliminary employment intention, some graduates have signed a contract on the spot. Some junior students also attended the meeting to learn about the employment situation and industry trends in advance, so as to accumulate relevant experience for job-hunting after graduation. In addition, the job fair also set up a resume guidance and graduate file management consulting for students to provide career positioning, job-seeking skills, resume making, career planning, employment and personnel policy and other counseling.

This meeting is aimed at improving the competitiveness of students job hunting in the future, creating a good opportunity for the smooth employment of college graduates, as well as building a good cooperation platform for enterprises and colleges to carry out more extensive cooperation.
