On the morning of February 23rd, 2023, the online signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between FAFU and Sinaloa, Mexico was held in Wuyi Hall. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Jesus Seade, Mexican Ambassador to China; José Jaime Montes Salas, the president of the Mexican Association of Secretaries of Agricultural Development (AMSDA) and the secretary of Agriculture and Livestock of Sinaloa; Mr. ZHANG Run, Chinese Ambassador to Mexico; Mr. CHEN Guoquan, Deputy Director-General of Fujian Provincial Foreign Affairs Office; Mr. LAN Siren, President of FAFU; Mr. ZHENG Baodong, Vice President of FAFU; Professor LIN Zhanxi, the chief scientist of China National Engineering Research Center of JUNCAO Technology; Director of General Administration Office of FAFU; Dean of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange in FAFU; and some teachers and students representatives.

In his speech, LAN Siren introduced the basic situation, the achievements and development of FAFU in recent years, elaborated the situation of JUNCAO technology in ecological conservation, feed processing, cultivation of edible fungi with grass instead of wood, comprehensive utilization and foreign aid of JUNCAO. He pointed out that this signing once again promoted the cooperation between FAFU and universities in Latin America, enhanced China-Latin America friendship, and further deepened the cooperation in education and scientific research between the two sides. In their speeches, the guests expressed their support and congratulations on the signing of the cooperation agreement between FAFU and the state of Sinalo, and hoped that FAFU could advance the implementation of the JUNCAO foreign aid project in Sinalo as soon as possible, contributing to the promotion of cooperation and exchanges between China and Mexico.
