Recently, Times Higher Education (THE) has released the World University Rankings 2023, and FAFU entered the list for the first time, ranking among 1001-1200 in the world. So far, FAFU has been ranked in the three authoritative world university rankings: Shanghai Ranking’s Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), Best Global Universities Rankings announced by U.S. News & World Report and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

It is reported that there are 1,799 universities in 104 countries/regions in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023, and 95 universities are from the Chinese mainland, among which 5 universities are from Fujian Province.
