China national Engineering Research Center of Juncao Technology was formed and inaugurated in December 2011 as approved by the Chinese Government Ministry of Science and Technology, relying on the Juncao Technology invention unit - Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (FAFU). The Center, passed on Feb 25th, 2016 the acceptance inspection for the operational performances in the last three years as organized by the Chinese Government Ministry of Science and Technology, is now under the guidance of the Management Committee and supervised by a Chief Director who assumes the responsibility of routine management and operations, with an Engineering and Technical Committee composed of the outstanding scientific research experts and industry development backbones both at home and abroad, to provide technology and policy consultations.
The Center, staffed by 110 permanent plus 36 associated scientific research and management personnel, and well equipped with 184 sets of instruments and intermediate test facilities, has complete and full JUNCAO engineering technology research and products development capabilities, and now enjoys extensive cooperation relations with many domestic and international research institutes and enterprises. “China National Engineering and Research Center of Juncao Technology” fully relies on the advantages of FAFU and the related disciplines of crop genetics and breeding, crop cultivation, microbiology, food science and engineering, agricultural product quality and safety guidance, agricultural biotechnology, biological engineering, agricultural ecology, environmental protection, and etc., as resources of support in areas of Juncao scientific research personnel training and the relevant technological and industrial development.
