Online Meeting for Cooperation Held between FAFU and Ural Federal University

 

An online meeting was held on the afternoon of April 20th between FAFU and Ural Federal University to promote cooperation. Vice President Zheng Baodong and administrators from school offices and colleges attended the meeting. Nine representatives from Ural Federal University were present, including Dr. Sergey Knyazev, Director of Academic Affairs, Mr. Sergey Tushin, Vice-rector for International Relations, and Dr. Aleksandr Germanenko, Vice-Rector for Research.

During the meeting, the two sides made general introductions to each other and discussed the possible cooperation in fields like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, mechanical manufacture, and economics and management. As was pointed out by Zheng, since relationship between China and Russia is currently on honeymoon, FAFU expects to reach an agreement with Ural Federal University and boost exchanges in multiple ways to foster synergy in research and education.

According to the three Russian attendees, Ural Federal University looks forward to the cooperation and will help promote the progress and support future projects.
