At present, there are 6 full-time undergraduate majors in Forestry College, including Forestry, Resources and Environment and Urban and Rural Planning and Management, Soil and Water Conservation & Desertification Combating, Forest Resources Protection and Recreation, Ecology, Statistics, which belong to two disciplines as agriculture and science. The number of undergraduate student is up to 1570, and in recent years, average employment rate of graduates is more than 96%. Forestry is national characteristics major. There are 6 provincial fine-selected courses, such as biological statistics, forest ecology, assets evaluation of forest resources, silviculture, forest environment, 3s technology. Besides, there are two provincial personnel training innovation experimental areas, including Ecology and Forestry. Forest Ecology teaching team is renowned in the province.
