Recently, the twelfth “International Lecture” KICKED OFFThis time we invited Xingdi Mao and other nine Canadian exchange students from MountSaint VincentUniversity in Canada as guests to share their study experience with our students.

Mao and Canadian students introduced Canadian social and cultural, customs and university life from the perspective of international students and local students respectively. Questions about cultural adaptation were also answered in detail. Canadian students from MSVU also learned about Chinese traditional culture and life through the introduction given by our students. Students from two countries interacted enthusiastically, discussing differences and common points.

This Lecture promoted the relationship between Chinese students and Canadian students and broadened their horizons as well. The International Lecture of OEC aims at strengthening the students’ international cultural awareness, opening up their international horizons and cultivating their critically thinking, which enriches a cross-cultural environment at OEC and FAFU.
