On 8th May 2017, one teacher and nine undergraduate students from Mount Saint Vincent University visited College of Bee Science.

Prof. Shaokang Huang delivered a lecture on College of Bee Science, knowledge of honeybees, development and application of bee products, and apitherapy. Students shared their experiences with bees and some apiculture conditions in Canada. Most of them were very interested in bee products and apitherapy. During the lecture, they also tasted the fresh litchi honey obtained last month in Fujian Province and spoke highly of it.

After the lecture, Prof. Huang demonstrated the structure of bee comb and the bee activities. Many students were enthusiastic for trying to open up the bee hive and handling the bees. All of the undergraduates enjoyed the learning experience at the College of Bee Science.
