FAFU Research Team Publishes Online Article in NATURE

福建农林大学(英文版) 发布时间: 2019-04-24 信息员:

On April 3rd, the team of Prof. Xu Tongda of FAFU-UCR Joint Center for Horticultural Biology and Metabolomics of HIST published an online article titled “TMK1-mediated auxin signalling regulates differential growth of the apical hook”. The paper reported that a signalling mechanism operates at the concave side of the apical hook, and involves auxin-mediated C-terminal cleavage of transmembrane kinase 1 (TMK1).

Figures:

fig.e-h. The cleavage by TMKI occurs under the action of high concentration of auxin on the inner side of the apex, and the C-terminal protein fragment is transferred to the cytoplasm and nucleus.

The first authors are Cao Min(joint PhD student of Shanghai Center for Plant Stress Biology, CAS and FAFU-UCR Joint Center, Horticulture Biology and Metabolomics Center, HIST), Chen Rong(Associate Professor of Shanghai Center for Plant Stress Biology, CAS) and Li Pan(PhD student of Shanghai Center for Plant Stress Biology, CAS). Prof. Xu Tongda of FAFU-UCR Joint Center, Horticulture Biology and Metabolomics Center, HIST was the corresponding author.

Shanghai Center for Plant Stress Biology, CAS was the first complete unit. FAFU-UCR Joint Center, Horticulture Biology and Metabolomics Center, HIST was the co-complete unit. The study was funded by the Key Research Youth Program From the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars of China, Center for Plant Stress Biology,FAFU and Key Laboratory Open Foundation From China Agricultural University.
